Burrs, Ducks and Dogs, OH MY!

Day-Tripping: Oshawa Creek in April Sunshine!

The April sunshine is here and I am barking up a storm all about it! Oshawa Creek is part of the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail known as the Second Marsh. This is the largest coastal marsh in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). It was the perfect spot to sniff fresh budding trees and spy on delectable duckies in the creek!

PAWS UP for asphalt paths from this heavily feathered gal! The Ed Kroll Memorial Walkway is a paved path accessible for wheelchairs, cycling and WOOF, Cavalier ground-sweeping ears!

OMG! I met Bo Obama - NOT. But I did met a very muddy Portuguese Water Dog who just got out of the creek named Kurt. He was with his bud Ross a speedy Jack Russel Terrier. The guys pointed out a mass of burr balls stuck in my ears; Mom freaked - again. She knows the score. A long night ahead picking them out :S
